Are you a business support organisation looking to adopt more up to date techniques to support the businesses you work with?
Although there are some great tools available, (like our very own, soon to be launched WSX Digital e-learning programme) to help businesses develop their own digital skills, how good are business support organisations at using digital tools and techniques to support the businesses they work with?
Ultimately looking to improve policies for SMEs competitiveness by enhancing support services for first-time entrepreneurs, the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) project is looking at how we can build a complete ecosystem for entrepreneurs starting a new business. That includes seeing how business support agencies can make use of current and future digital tools and techniques, making their support even more efficient and effective for start-up businesses.
Mindful of the challenges involved in supporting start-ups; different quality in service given to start-up businesses,- sometimes postal code dependent, different methods used working with start-ups, limited resources for advisors, expectations from the entrepreneur and availability of support across all areas, the lead Norwegian partner involved in the One-Stop project is now live testing a completely new digital Business Support Platform, the Lean Business Platform – Entreprenerdy, a completely new digital solution and way of supporting SMEs across the region.
Launched on the 12th November it’s been so far so good, with evidence of success to date resulting in new start-up businesses signing up and using the platform, and with positive feedback from stakeholders using it.
Like EU Interreg funded projects, the One Stop Shop project is focused on swapping and sharing information on all aspects of first-line support for start-up businesses across all partner regions involved in the project. We’re really proud to be a part of this project and plan to share more information and access to some of the key features on this digital business support platform very soon.
